Forest Museum
The guides of the Maison de la Forêt will be happy to tell you more about the history and mining history of Sabatier (with its 103 meters the highest 'terril' or slag mountain in the Valenciennes region), as well as about the techniques of forest management, environmental protection or the development of fauna and flora. This site is the starting point for numerous hiking and cycling tours and you can also enjoy the many possibilities of the recreation center.
