Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens Church in Blérancourt was built around 1537, at the instigation of Guillaume Lanvin, seigneur de Blérancourt and equerry to the king. Built on the site of an earlier 12th-century church, it has undergone successive transformations. All that remains of the original church is the nave and choir. The aisles were not built until 1620, on the initiative of Bernard Potier, Marquis de Blérancourt, and his wife Charlotte de Vieux-Pont. Miss Anne Murray Dike, in accordance with her wishes, was buried along the north side of the church.
