At Montgobert, you'll be seduced as much by the architecture, a true archetype of classicism, as by the magic escaping from the park. Residence of Pauline Bonaparte, headquarters during the First World War, Montgobert has a rich history dating back to the end of the 18th century. Inside the château, you'll find 30 rooms showcasing hundreds of antique tools and lost trades, as well as several rooms devoted to the 14/18 war and hunting. In the vast English park is the tomb of General Leclerc, Pauline's husband.
Open by appointment, except Fridays and Saturdays in May, June and September.
Open daily from 2 pm to 6 pm, except Fridays and Saturdays, from July 1 to August 31. Groups by appointment.
