The Col de Montgenèvre is a pass of the French Alps culminating at 1850 m, between the massif of Cerces ( Chaberton range ) and the massif of Queyras . It takes its name from its proximity to the village of Montgenèvre . It connects Briançon Cesana Torinese in Italy but is located entirely on the French side of the border, located 2.4 km.
