North Mill
It is not exactly known when the North Mill, also referred to as the mill from the North, was built. However, we do know that a beam from the year 1576 was discovered during the last restoration of the mill. The mill produced flour and grains until the year 1959. It was purchased in 1975 by the city of Steenvoorde and restored from 1978 to 1983. When the wind allows, the blades turn when there are visitors.
