Fontoy is a French commune located in the Moselle department, in the Grand Est region. Fontoy was also the chief town of the Fontoy canton made up of twelve communes with 21,406 inhabitants. The inhabitants of Fontoy are called the Fenschois. Fontoy is part of the Portes de France-Thionville urban community.
