Chanville is a French municipality with 147 inhabitants in the Moselle department in the Grand Est region. It belongs to the Metz arrondissement.
Chanville is located in Lorraine, about 18 kilometers southeast of Metz, nine kilometers southeast of Pange, and ten kilometers west of Faulquemont. The municipal area covers 3.91 km². The highest elevation in the town reaches 310 m.
