Located to the west of Noyon, the Picardy village of Noyonnais is situated at the crossroads of departmental roads RD 27 and RD 78. The climate that characterizes the municipality is described, in 2010, as a "degraded oceanic climate of the plains of the Center and the North," according to the typology of climates in France which then listed eight major types of climates in the metropolitan area. In 2020, the municipality falls under the type "altered oceanic climate" in the classification established by Météo-France, which now recognizes, at first glance, only five major types of climates in the metropolitan area. This is a transition zone between the oceanic climate, the mountain climate, and the semi-continental climate. The temperature differences between winter and summer increase with the distance from the sea. Precipitation is lower than at the seaside, except in the vicinity of the reliefs.
