Ghissignies is a French commune located in the Nord department, in the Hauts-de-France region.
It is a small village in the heart of the Avesnois regional natural park at the southeast tip of the Nord department. The village is characterized by a typical bocage landscape, consisting of meadows surrounded by hedges where it is pleasant to live, and is highly appreciated by visitors for its tranquility and picturesque hiking paths. Since 1998, the commune has been classified within the Avesnois regional natural park.
