Reichsfeld is a French commune located in the administrative district of Bas-Rhin and, since January 1, 2021, in the territory of the European Community of Alsace, in the Grand Est region.
Reichsfeld is a commune that is part of the canton of Barr and the arrondissement of Sélestat-Erstein. The village is nestled in a hollow away from any major road, at the foot of the Ungersberg mountain, crossed in the distance by the departmental road from Villé to Barr. The total area of the Reichsfeld municipality is 506 hectares, of which 257 hectares are forest, accounting for 52% of the communal land. It is expanding at the expense of farmland. In 1907, there were only 180 hectares of forest. The village is primarily a winegrowing commune. Currently, there are 53 hectares of vines compared to 94 hectares in 1907. The inhabitants of Reichsfeld are called the Reichsfeldois. The nearest village is Bernardvillé, located 2 km away.
