Lalande High School is a secondary education institution located in Bourg-en-Bresse. A college founded by the Jesuits in 1649 passes into different hands when the Society of Jesus is banned from France. It becomes 'Lycée Lalande' at the end of the 19th century. In 2017, the high school welcomes over a thousand students, from second year to preparatory classes for grandes écoles. The classes are mainly scientific.
The 18th-century portal is listed as a historical monument since March 13, 1950; the chapel is classified as a historical monument since March 21, 1983.
