During the coronation of the kings, most of the festivities took place here. Now it is a museum. The Gothic chapel from the 13th century and the Salle du Tau from the 15th century are the main components. The largest adjustments occurred at the end of the 17th century. Tau is the Greek letter T, which refers to the layout of the palace.
