The visitors view the exhibits of the Musée portuaire that are displayed in an old tobacco warehouse from the 19th century, on the quay of the fortress. They learn all about the port, both its history and contemporary aspects. From privateers to fishermen in Iceland, from dockworkers to captains, and from two-master ships to container ships: a history and many stories to discover. A visit to the three moored ships opposite the museum: the three-masted Duchesse Anne and the lightship Sandettie, both designated as historical monuments, and the barge Guilde complete the visit to the Musée à Quai.
