The Abbey of Mormant is an ancient commandery located at the place name of the same name, between the French communes of Richebourg and Leffonds, in the current department of Haute-Marne.
More than just an abbey, by its very nature a closed place to the outside world, Mormant is part of the lineage of the hospital-hospitable way stations that existed in medieval France.
