The Kérino Bridge is a rotating bridge spanning the channel of the Vannes port downstream of a lock gate. The city of Vannes has decided to replace it with a tunnel, construction of which began in October 2013.
Inaugurated in 1988, it allows road passage from one bank to the other and is the only east-west link in the southern part of the city of Vannes. It is used daily by 15,000 vehicles. Since September 2016, it is forbidden for cars, which must now use the lower Kérino passage. This tunnel was opened to traffic in July 2016.
