Notre-Dame de Dole is the main church of the city of Dole, in Franche-Comté. Attached to the diocese of Saint-Claude, it serves the parish of Notre-Dame, in the parish sector of Dole-town. It was built in the 16th century, in a hybrid Gothic-Renaissance style, on the site of an old collegiate church of Notre-Dame from which it inherited its name and status until 1790. Nowadays, it continues, by tradition, to be called "Collégiale," despite its elevation to a minor basilica in 1951. It has been classified as a historical monument since 1910.
