Château de Bessonies

Situated between the Quercy region and the Monts du Cantal, Château de Bessonies features a small museum dedicated to the memory of Marshal Ney, Napoleon's Brave of the Brave, who was arrested here in 1815. Open to visitors by appointment, the Marechal's bedroom and library, the salons and their furnishings, where owners Philippe and Christophe have created an atmosphere that blends classical, baroque and contemporary, and the park, planted with topiary, boxwood and hornbeam, all contribute to the interest of this place. The château also offers its Floréal, Prairial, Messidor and Thermidor rooms and suites, and serves a continental breakfast included in the room rate.
