The Lake Luitel National Nature Reserve is the first national nature reserve created in France, on March 15, 1961. Located in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in the department of Isère, it occupies an area of 17 ha and protects the peat bogs and the original flora around Lake Luitel.
