The Catholic parish church of Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption in Auvers-sur-Oise, a municipality in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region of France, was started in the 12th century in the Romanesque style and continued in the Gothic style in the 13th century. The church became famous primarily due to the painting The Church at Auvers by Vincent van Gogh, which is now located in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. In 1915, the church dedicated to the Assumption of Mary was listed as a historical monument in the list of protected buildings in France.
