Musée d'art et d'archéologie

The Musée d'art et d'archéologie is a historical museum and art museum in the northern French city of Laon, capital of the Aisne department.

The museum is located in the former buildings of a commandery of the Order of Saint John in the center of old Laon, not far from the Cathedral of Laon in rue Georges Ermant, no. 32. Originally, the commandery belonged to the order of the Knights Templar. Of these, the old Templar Chapel remains, which is located in the garden of the museum. The museum has been located here since 1891. It is an official "Musée de France".
