The castle of Luc, a site not to be missed, an unforgettable visit, immerse yourself in the Middle Ages.
Discover the vestiges of this castle, guardian of the Régordane route, which occupies a strategic position on the border of Gévaudan (Lozère) and Vivarais (Ardèche) where Robert Louis Stevenson stopped in the 19th century, at the foot of which you will discover the Allier valley.
The village of Luc is one of the oldest inhabited places in Languedoc. You will discover on the building a particular alignment of stones, this type of construction is called "opus spicatum" or "apparatus in herringbone", "apparatus in fishbone". On the site, panels will allow you to decipher the site.
