The Basilica of Sainte-Clotilde is a Roman Catholic church in Reims, France, and thus part of the Archdiocese of Reims. The church is located in the heart of the Sainte-Anne district.
The church was built starting in 1896 by the Reims architect Alphonse Gosset to commemorate the 1400th anniversary of the baptism of King Clovis I. This building, in the neo-Byzantine style – in the shape of a Greek cross and topped by a dome – is dedicated to Clovis's wife. The Chrodechild, venerated here under the name Clotilde, is considered the origin of the Frankish king's conversion to Catholicism. The building is inspired by St. Peter's Basilica in Rome and the Church of St. Augustine in Paris. The church was elevated to the status of Basilica minor in 1902 and completed in 1905.
