The Riqueval Bridge is a canal bridge in Picardy, in the Aisne département. It is located exactly in the middle between northern Bellicourt and southern Bellenglise and became famous when it fell undestroyed by a coup d'état into the hands of the Allies in the Battle of the Saint-Quentin Canal on 29 September 1918.
The Riqueval Bridge spans the Canal de Saint-Quentin 12 kilometers north of Saint-Quentin. About 1.3 kilometres further north is the Riqueval Tunnel, which runs the canal under the village of Bellicourt. The single-lane road bridge is about 30 metres long and is the former extension of the D 932 in the direction of Vermand, which – less than 100 metres away – joins the N 44. It was opened together with the canal in 1810. Today, the bridge has the significance of a farm road.
