The Douix or Douix de Châtillon is an abundant outflow at the origin of a short river of the same name which feeds the upper course of the Seine. It is located in Châtillon-sur-Seine in the north of the Côte-d'Or.
The Douix is linked to the karst network of the Bathonian limestone plateau of the Châtillonnais, between the valleys of the Ource and the Seine. This meteorite network may have been partly fuelled by losses from the Ource.
