The fountain of the bear, in the street of the same name, is dated 1558. The column of the central post with Renaissance capitals, bears a heraldic lion holding a shield (rebuilt) with the arms of Heiligenstein. Four slabs of the octagonal basin are decorated with geometric motifs and replacements in late Gothic style; the others are modern. The drinking trough below is in fact a Merovingian sarcophagus found in the commune.
