Plage Valentin

This long sandy beach (740m), makes the happiness of the amateurs of sailing, swimming or idleness in the sun.
It is the largest beach of the resort and of the wild coast.

The Valentin beach offers several services on the spot:

- Catering on the spot
- 2 sanitary blocks
- A surveillance post in July and August from 1:30 pm to 7 pm
- Parking spaces in the vicinity
- Parking spaces for bicycles

Nearby, a sailing school, labeled French Sailing School and the Mersea boarding school, offer you many activities.

The Valentin beach is supervised from July 1st to August 31st from 1:30 pm to 7 pm by the SNSM lifeguards.

An accessibility mat is available at the entrance of the beach (rue Appert) for people with reduced mobility. They are available from June 15 to September 15 (depending on the weather).
Amphibious chairs are also available on request from the lifeguard station from July 1st to August 31st.

Dogs and other animals, even if on a leash, are not allowed on any of the beaches between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm from April 15 to September 30. It is forbidden to light beach fires on the territory of the Valentin beach and to smoke in the perimeter of the Valentin beach "smoke-free areas".

Metal detection is subject to authorization. This is to be requested from the Municipal Police Department.
