Housed in one of the most beautiful private mansions in the Marais - the Hôtel de Saint-Aignan - the museum presents the evolution of Jewish communities through their history, their cultural heritage and their age-old traditions, with a special focus on the history of the Jews of France. The collections include religious objects, textiles, manuscripts, historical documents, etc. from the Middle Ages to the present day. Great artists such as Marc Chagall, Chaïm Soutine and Christian Boltanski are also on display.
