The Chapel of the Visitation is a Catholic chapel located in Puy-en-Velay, Place de la Plâtrière, in the historic center district. It is the former chapel of the first convent of the Visitandines built in 1655. Driven away during the Revolution, they returned in 1808 to settle in their new convent which they converted from the former Saint-Maurice-du-Refuge convent built in 1687, turning it into a boarding school for girls and constructing a new chapel there in 1837. This chapel of the convent of the Visitation in Puy-en-Velay, which is located on Rue de la Visitation, should therefore not be confused with the chapel of the first convent, located at Place de la Plâtrière, which is referred to here.
