Launched in October 2014, the 250m² exhibition at the Galerie de Minéralogie et de Géologie unveils a never-before-seen selection from the Museum's mineral collections. Treasures of the Earth presents 600 minerals, meteorites, gems and historic jewels from five continents. The scenography explores the formation of minerals, their diversity of color and form, and phenomena such as fluorescence. Some twenty giant crystals retrace the history of the Earth and the solar system.
