Near the Grande Galerie de l'Évolution, the Galerie de Minéralogie et de Géologie presents the permanent exhibition "Treasures of the Earth". The collection brings together nearly 600 remarkable pieces, including some twenty giant crystals, unique in the world. Visitors will discover true works of art, straight from the centre of the Earth and the galaxy! Some of these pieces have been on display since the 18th century and were in the showcases of the Natural History Cabinet opened by Buffon and Daubenton.
