The Faculty of Medicine of Montpellier is located in the city of Montpellier, France, and has been in practice since the 12th century, although it obtained its first institutional framework in 1220. Today, it is part of the University of Montpellier, known as Université Montpellier I. Among its alumni are illustrious figures such as Nostradamus, François Rabelais, and Guillaume Rondelet, among others. The Faculty of Medicine of Montpellier is the oldest in continuous operation in the world.
