The Regional Natural Park of Queyras is located in the French department of Hautes-Alpes in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.
The park extends between the Italian border to the Piedmont region, which runs here in a north-south direction, and the further west flowing river valley of the Durance. The nearest larger towns are Briançon to the northwest and Sestriere to the north of the natural park.
