Description

The Regional Natural Park of Monts d'Ardèche is a regional natural park of France from a project born in 1992 at the initiative of the chestnut growers, producers of chestnuts , and formalized nine years later, in 2001. It extends initially on the western Ardèche department , and its scope was extended in 2013 to a few neighboring towns of Haute-Loire .

The Monts d' Ardèche's identity is based on strong common characteristics: landscapes, rural know-how, volcanism , rivers, blueberry and chestnut production, religious history, mills and mills, terraces , etc.
