At the foot of the village of Varaignes, on the banks of the Crochet, you will discover a unique site, rich of its hydraulic and botanical heritage. The site reveals plant species used for the manufacture of the thread or the dye, witnesses of the weaving tradition of Varaignes.
Wheels, gears, millstone, hammer, ram and waterwheel retrace the multiple uses of water energy.
Guided tour every Wednesday at 2:30 pm during the Easter and All Saints' vacations and in July and August.
