La Teste-de-Buch is first and foremost the Dune du Pilat, the highest in Europe, a listed natural site.
Strengthened by this masterpiece of nature, the commune of La Teste de Buch is also most of the natural sites that make the Bassin d'Arcachon famous: l'Île aux Oiseaux and its tchanquées huts, the Banc d'Arguin, the lake of Cazaux.... Very lively heritage which offers a wide choice of sports activities and events. La Teste-de-Buch lives, breathes and has fun all year round.
