The little pink pebbles are shaking under your feet. They love to be tickled by your footsteps. There are those in a hurry who cross the park without looking. There are the lovers who hug each other on the benches without reaching them. There are the children who run and kick them. Sometimes their flight is so long that they land in a grove of flowers, or at the foot of a tree. If on one side you can admire a century-old Ginkgo Biloba, on the other side a pecan tree only takes root. The rose garden, on the other hand, has an embalming effect and touches the senses. Their beauty and colours catch the eye as much as their smell catches the nose. But that's it, visitors leave this park, in the name of the statue that thrones, Napoleon, to fly away to other horizons.
