Église protestante

The Protestant community, which had about 100 members in 1868, decided to open a public subscription to build a Temple (near the present-day Lunéville train station). In addition to the state subsidy, many individuals of all denominations made donations. The Protestant church was built in a district that was in full development following the installation of the railroad, inaugurated in 1852.

The place of worship, modest in its lines and proportions, was soon too small because, after the annexation of Alsace and part of Lorraine in 1871, 10,000 emigrants, including many Protestants, settled in Lunéville. Nevertheless, the building was not enlarged. The small gallery of the temple was simply doubled and extended.

In 1970, for the centenary of this place of worship, new stained glass windows designed by Mr. MACOIN replaced the original ones.
