Above Saint Céré, a 19th century castle framed by two medieval towers houses Jean Lurçat's workshop. We strongly advise you to climb up there!
This is where the artist, who entered the resistance in the Lot in 1941, worked on his most famous tapestries, including the Chant du Monde. The visit of the workshop and his apartments is moving: you can find his paw everywhere... drawings, woodwork, armchairs, frescoes, kitchen tiles... A very inspired place! And don't forget the little tour in the park before leaving, the view is grandiose.
