8 km from Tonneins and the banks of the Garonne, go through the small village of Grateloup-Saint-Gayrand and take the direction of Castelmoron-sur-Lot. You can't miss the Gorry mill. Situated on a mound at an altitude of 162 metres, it can be seen from afar. Accessible by a small path, it dominates the Garonne valley and faces, on the same hill, the mill of Roujol.
Built in 1808 as the inscription above the door indicates, the Gorry mill was still in operation when it was the prey of a fire in 1932. Recently restored identically, it has recovered a brand new mechanism and its wings of yesteryear thanks to the mastery of the Compagnons du Tour de France. In the evening, the wings are illuminated and stand out against the starry sky. Ask at the town hall if you wish to visit it.
