Musée d'Ecole Fernand Boutet

Everything here is as it was: desks, blackboard, exercise books, text books, prizes, brownie points, blouses, dunce cap, right down to the famous "Sergant Major" nibs dipped in violet-covered ink! This was the school of our grandparents, which now introduces a team of retired national education leaders at this small museum crammed with rare and diverse objects. Choose your place at the back of the class close to the stove or at the front under the master's nose... Settle in at one of the bench tables and listen to your guides as they recount their memories. Through the various activities available, you can participate in workshops on stories, folding, drawing, poetry, singing and even writing with a feather... A nostalgic return to a school life.
