The "Cabaret du Père Lathuille" has an eventful history. A former café-concert frequented by the likes of Édouard Manet, it became a cinema in the 30s. Its bilingual programming made it very popular, before being neglected after the war. Renovated with the help of Fanny Ardant, it became a reference point for cinema in Paris. The Bistrot des Cinéastes is also a popular venue for meetings and retrospectives.
