The spa park was designed to help bathers relax. It was also a place for visitors to meet and chat. The moraines, which date back to the Ice Age, have been preserved for authenticity. The paths will wind between the pond and the new, artificially-created waterfall.
This area will be home to numerous tree species, including Japanese larch, horse chestnut and Virginia tulip. At the time, it also housed a pet shop, a dairy and a shooting range belonging to the Francs-tireurs des Vosges society (1868).
It was a place to relax, and still is today. You can play pétanque, mini golf, hike or fish in the pond, and discover the Parc des Miniatures, a veritable showcase of the monuments of the Grand Est region (entrance fee payable).
