Under Clisson?s majestic wooden market hall, one of the largest and oldest in France, let yourself be transported by the dynamic atmosphere of bygone days, where the town?s market is still held on Tuesday and Friday mornings.
You'll soon feel as if you're in a real Italian landscape. Antique tiles, thin bricks, umbrella pines, giant cypresses? there's no doubt that François Fédéric Lemot, who redesigned the town in the 19th century, took a trip to Italy that smacks of the South.
