Overlooking the Thérain valley and located in a green setting, the castle of Merlemont dates back to the 13th century. Its turrets and flanks (14th century) can be admired. It has suffered through the centuries the setbacks of History, from the War of Religions in the Beauvaisis (16th century) to the Second World War (1944).
