The beach of Arès is a 3 km long sandy beach along the basin of Arcachon. It is the ideal place for an afternoon of swimming and "farniente" in the shade of the maritime pines. The width of the beach allows the practice of many activities (beach games, kite), but also fishing on foot at low tide.
Swimming is not supervised in this area, but presents little danger (no currents or waves).
