In Aubas, 3.5 km from Lascaux, the Sauveboeuf Louis XIII castle overlooks the Vézère. A classical Mansard castle rebuilt in 1636 by Charles Antoine de Ferrières, honorary child of Louis XIII. The striking Renaissance terrace overlooking the Vézère is a must-see.
