If you have never attended a ‘Course Landaise’, come to Pomarez, the little village considered to be the Mecca of this type of competition. It is here on the 15th August that the passionate gather to participate in the ‘Course Landaise’. Take your time during your visit and don’t forget there will always be someone eager to tell you the story behind this traditional sport and to show you what goes on backstage including the breeding of the cattle and rearing of young cows.
