Abbaye de Senones

Gondelbert, in 640, did not imagine that his monastery would be a powerful Benedictine abbey in Lorraine until the French Revolution, coveted by kings, counts and bishops. Today, one can still walk through the large courtyards, the cloister, the gardens and admire the main staircase, the abbot's palace and the immense library of this beautiful 18th century architectural ensemble

In the heart of the city, the abbey of Senones can be discovered all year round, alone or accompanied. Visit documents for young and old are available at the Tourist Office.

Guided tours are offered during the school vacations every Thursday at 10 am, as well as the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, from April to October. Only on registration at the Tourist Office. Guided tours for groups by appointment.
