Valromey-sur-Séran is a commune in the Ain department in eastern France. The municipality was established on 1 January 2019 by merger of the former communes of Belmont-Luthézieu, Lompnieu, Sutrieu and Vieu.Valromey-sur-Séran has a oceanic climate . The average annual temperature in Valromey-sur-Séran is 9.3 °C . The average annual rainfall is 1,413.2 mm with December as the wettest month. The temperatures are highest on average in July, at around 18.3 °C , and lowest in January, at around 0.8 °C . The highest temperature ever recorded in Valromey-sur-Séran was 37.7 °C on 31 July 2022; the coldest temperature ever recorded was −24.1 °C on 7 February 2020.
