The Château de l'Islet is a residence from the 16th-17th centuries, located in the French commune of Sainte-Marie-du-Mont in the Manche department, in the Normandy region. The Château de l'Islet is situated in the village, behind the church, in the French department of Manche. Its strategic location allowed it to monitor the wide estuary formed by the confluence of several rivers: Douve, Taute, Vire, and Aure, as well as the fords enabling passage over the Grand and Petit Vey, providing access to the Cotentin.
